JOB SUMMARY
The Director Media Greater China leads all paid media activities across the Greater China region overseeing a team of 2 media professionals and partnering closely with Global & regional media leaders and all marketing teams. This role works in close collaboration with global and local media agencies to define and execute full-funnel media strategies that drive business growth brand impact and measurable performance outcomes.
This role requires a holistic view of the end-to-end customer journey supported by deep technical expertise in digital demand generation media planning execution optimization and performance analytics. The Director champions a performance-driven mindset continuously optimizing media investment to maximize return on investment at global continent and market levels.
In addition this role is accountable for building a high-performing well-governed and compliant media organization in Greater China. The Director leads develops and inspires the media team while ensuring all media operations agency partnerships and budget management activities adhere to Marriotts internal control audit ethics and compliance standards.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
10 years of relevant experience as a media professional in a multinational corporation and/or leading media agency.
Deep expertise in the Greater China media ecosystem including platforms partners measurement and analytics.
Fluency in English and Chinese.
Proven experience managing agencies vendors and strategic partners.
Strong people management experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
Solid understanding of internal control audit compliance and ethics requirements in a multinational environment.
