Job Summary:
Lotus school for Excellence is seeking a friendly organized and professional Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our school. The ideal candidate will manage the front desk and provide excellent customer service to students parents staff and visitors. As the first point of contact for our school this role is essential in creating a warm and supportive environment while maintaining the security and integrity of our campus.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk Management:
Greet and assist visitors parents students and staff with professionalism and courtesy
creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Phone & Communication Support:
Answer screen and direct phone calls take messages and respond to inquiries promptly.
Manage and distribute emails sent to the schools general inbox.
Visitor Management:
Oversee visitor sign-in and sign-out processes ensuring compliance with safety protocols
and security standards.
Student & Parent Assistance:
Assist students and parents with information and direct them to appropriate departments
or staff members as needed.
Administrative Duties:
Assist with various clerical duties such as data entry filing sorting mail scheduling
appointments and managing school calendars.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate visitor logs student attendance records and other documentation as
required.
Communication Support:
Help prepare and distribute school communications such as newsletters announcements
and notifications.
Emergency Preparedness:
Act as the point person during emergency situations following established protocols for
safety and communication.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional coursework in office
administration or customer service is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role preferably as a
receptionist or administrative assistant. Experience in an educational environment is a
plus.
Skills & Abilities:
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills
o Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with basic office equipment
o Ability to manage multiple tasks and handle interruptions
o Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality
o Basic knowledge of student information systems (preferred but not required)

Work Environment:
