As a Security Officer - Riverwalk Patrol in Washington DC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests staff and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures access control practices and when appropriate emergency response activities at a cultural institution location.
• Respond to incidents guest concerns alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of galleries exhibit areas public spaces back-of-house corridors loading areas and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance issues.
• Monitor and report suspicious activity policy violations and/or potential threats completing required logs and incident reports in a clear and timely manner.
• Support artifact and exhibit protection by observing visitor behavior helping to maintain orderly lines and crowd flow and enforcing site rules in a respectful customer-focused way.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21 Years of Age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
