Controller Heavy Civil/Sitework (South Atlanta GA)

What Youll Do

Manage general ledger accounts payable/receivable payroll and month-end close
Prepare accurate financial statements reports and forecasts
Develop budgets and track project performance to support cost control and profitability
Implement and maintain internal controls policies and procedures
Supervise audits and ensure compliance with GAAP tax and regulatory requirements
Analyze financial data to identify trends risks and opportunities for process improvement

What Were Looking For

5 years of accounting or financial management experience preferably in construction or contracting
Proven expertise in financial reporting budgeting and forecasting
Hands-on experience managing general ledger accounts payable/receivable and payroll
Required experience with Sage 100; proficiency in other accounting software and advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field; CPA preferred
On-site presence in Newnan GA required
