MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
ArizonaSecondary Certificate withHistory Approved Area OR Social Studies Approved Area ANDBilingual Endorsement(Spanish approved area also required if teaching Spanish)
OR
Arizona Subject Matter Expert Certificate 6-12 with History Approved Area or Social Studies Approved Area ANDBilingual Endorsement(Spanish approved area also required if teaching Spanish)
Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles) or proof of MMR immunization.

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.

New to District Two-Way Dual Language (TWDL)teachers are consideredHard to Filland are eligible for a$5000 stipend. The stipend is paid in two installments at the end of each semester. Pro-rated for employees who work less than 1.0FTE/207 days.Make the Movecandidates are also eligible for this stipend if they have not received it previously.

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
