Job Description:

This position will report to the Chief of the Division of General Academic Pediatrics and Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida College of Medicine Jacksonville.

This position will be a General Pediatrician for our UF Health Pediatric Primary Care clinic at UF Health Baymeadows. The successful candidate will have ambulatory practice experience and the ability to increase patient volume and service capacity. The major responsibilities for this position will include providing direct care to children directing day to day operations growing the patient base and adhering to productivity and billing expectations.

Participation on committees to represent the Department of Pediatrics and the Division of General Academic Pediatrics as required. Attendance at Department faculty meetings and Divisional conferences as required.

UF Health physicians offer primary care and specialty services in practices throughout Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia tallying more than 650000 outpatient visits and more than 40000 inpatient admissions annually.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must possess a MD/DO degree and be eligible for a Florida Medical License.
