Job Title: Dispatcher
Location: Madison WI
Schedule: Full-Time Monday Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
About the Role
IKM Building Solutions is seeking a Dispatcher responsible for taking applicable information from customer callers and dispatching all HVAC requests to the service technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Accommodate a heavy volume of calls from customers and field service technicians.
- Efficiently dispatch all HVAC service requests to the service technicians per IKM response standards.
- Organize and dispatch service requests including determining which calls are most critical.
- Schedule all planned and unplanned maintenance calls with customers and technicians.
- Maintain knowledge of service technician whereabouts in order to provide accurate estimate of technician arrival to the customer.
- Check in service paperwork and close completed service tickets daily.
- Generate expiring maintenance agreement list and notify all Project Managers with applicable list monthly follow up to ensure PMA is booked prior to expiration.
- Create service tickets monthly for upcoming PMAs.
- Participate in department meetings as requested.
- Ensure accuracy of service technician time reporting and provide time sheets for payroll each Monday.
- Perform additional assignments as requested and maintains a teamwork attitude.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
Experience
- 6-12 months or dispatch/call center experience
- Knowledge of general customer service principles and practices
- Outstanding communication skills both verbally and written
