Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team at McDonald GMC Cadillac as a Shipping and Receiving associate. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting overall warehouse operations at our Saginaw MI location.
Responsibilities
- Receive inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving activities.
- Ensure storage areas are organized and inventory is properly labeled.
- Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory counts and reporting as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy items and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
