The Enterprise Risk and Compliance team sits within the 2nd Line Risk division with accountability for all Risk and Compliance activity across ASX. TheRegulatory Compliance & Monitoring teamoperatesas a secondline function responsible for thedesign advice operation and monitoring of Enterprise level Regulatory Compliance Management and the Regulatory Reporting Standardto industry and regulatory best practice standards withparticular emphasis reflecting ASXs role as a steward of Critical Market Infrastructure.
As apeople leader acore part of this rolewill be theresponsibility to role model the ASX Leadership Principles. Including:

- As a senior leader within Risk you will alsobe responsible for:
- Establishinga governance structure that enables the team at all levels to effectively manageoutcomesrequiredoftheteamacross a diverse group of stakeholdersincluding the Line 1 and
- Improving the operational riskand complianceenvironment and culture within your direct team and across the wider Risk division.
- Lead the development and implementation of a consistententerprise-wideapproach toregulatoryreporting compliance across ASX.
- Designownand manage Regulatory Reporting Risk across the organisation including the conduct of risk assessmentsdevelopmentand operation(controls monitoringreportingand governance)the RegulatoryReportingStandard.
- Oversee the implementation embedding and ongoing operation of the Regulatory Reporting Standard and associated procedures across ASX.
- Advise assessmonitorand report on the organisations regulator reporting posture providing clear insights and recommendations to senior management and governance forums.
- Drive continuous improvement in regulatory reporting frameworksmethodologiesand reporting practices to enhance effectivenessefficiencyand regulatory outcomes.
- Influence andadvisethe business on better practice approaches supporting capability uplift anddrivingcompliance outcomestomeet regulatory expectations.
- Challenge the business on the quality of the solutions proposed to address regulatory recommendations with a clear outcome focus applying best practice standards with a Regulator report and presenton the Regulatory Reporting postureto internal and external stakeholders and Committees as relevant.
- Lead and coach team members to continuously develop capability build high performing collaborative and engaged teams enabled by robust talent and development plans balanced performanceprioritiesand roles descriptions.
- Establish a governance structure that enables the team at all levels to effectively manageoutcomesrequiredoftheteamacross a diverse group of stakeholdersincluding the Line 1.
Your experience and qualifications
- Atertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. risk management compliance lawfinanceeconomicsor a related field).
- Extensiveseniorlevelexperience in risk management and regulatory compliance including the design and execution of enterprise risk strategies within complex matrixedfinancialservices organisations.
- Deepexpertisein risk management conceptsframeworksand tools with a proven ability toidentify assess and manage key nonfinancialrisks across an enterprise environment.
- Advanced compliance capability withdemonstratedexperienceprovidinghighqualityadvice insight and challenge across risk managementfinancialmarkets largescale projectdeliveryand regulatory remediation programs.
- Demonstratedability to clearly articulate complex risk and compliance matters to audiences at all levels including executive leadership and boards and to positively influence risk culture and behaviours.
- Proven experience engaging with and managingexecutivelevelsteering committees and governance forums including the ability to shape discussion drive outcomes and support informeddecisionmaking.
- Strong facilitation influencing and negotiation skills witha track recordof building trusted collaborative relationships across diverse stakeholder groups subject matterexpertsand senior leaders.
- Experience improving Operational Risk environments and culture and large-scale enterprise-wise risk transformations.
- Legalexpertisein financial or similar Industry
- Experience in large scaleEnterprise-widerisk transformations.
- Experience acrossRBAFinancial Stability StandardsandLicensee Compliance Reportingto Regulators.
