This position reports to the VP FP&A. The ideal candidate would be able to come into the New Providence NJ office 1 day a week. We are flexible for a fully remote candidate but would prefer local.
What Youll Do:
Financial Analysis & Business Partnership
- Provide financial analysis and decision support to Technical Operations (TechOps) Leadership.
- Collaborate with business leaders to develop and track key financial metrics including risks and opportunities to monitor performance and enhance forecasting accuracy.
- Partner on special projects and strategic initiatives as needed.
Financial Planning & Process Leadership
- Establish and lead process around financial deliverables reviews and updates.
- Establish a monthly review process for project and PO status to ensure seamless integration into forecasting cycles.
- Collaborate with TechOps team to provide licensing partners quarterly cross-charges and semiannual cross charge forecasts
- Partner with Controller team to develop annual and long-range standard cost estimates.
Controls & Compliance
- Recommend develop and implement financial practices and policies to ensure compliance.
- Review TechOps accrual estimates including calculations and documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Partner with the Controller and external auditors to support financial reviews and audits.
Requirements
Who You Are:
- BS/BA in Finance or Accounting; CPA or MBA strongly preferred
- 10 years of FP&A business partnering experience with 5 years in biopharmaceutical industry
- Strong experience with accrual accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience developing standard cost (preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to build cross-functional relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment
