As our Oncology Product & User Experience Research Internyoullbe embedded in a cross-functional product organization during a critical phase of closely with Product Management User Experience Marketing and Medical Affairs as we explore how cancer diagnostics fit into day-to-day clinical workflows. This is a hands-on internship where your research will inform design decisions influence product direction and directly shape how IDEXX supports veterinary teams around the world.

Partner with UX researchers to conduct qualitative studiesand workflow observations with veterinary professionals
Analyze and synthesize research findings into insights that inform product requirements and design priorities
Collaborate with product managers to translate customer insights into actionable recommendations for product design and future development
Participatein workshops journey mapping and cross-functional ideation sessions
Present research findings and recommendations to cross-functional partners and product leadership
Who You Are
A rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in UX/Design Human Factors Cognitive Science Biology/Life Sciences Business Veterinary Technology or a related field
Curious observant and energized by understanding how people think work and interact with complex systems
A clear and thoughtful communicator who can turn raw observations into meaningful narratives
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced product environment
Excited about the intersection of science healthcare and human-centered design
Able to work on-site at our Westbrook ME headquarters
