Logistics Coordinator
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for managing domestic and international shipments coordinating with carriers and internal teams and ensuring timely cost-effective delivery of goods. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment has strong organizational skills and can effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Create and manage both inbound and outbound domestic and international shipments to ensure timely cost effective and accurate delivery of goods (parcel LTL TL).
- Prepare and maintain shipping documents invoices packing lists and customs paperwork.
- Manage relationships with carriers freight forwarders suppliers and third-party logistics providers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and all relevant government regulations.
- Track shipments and resolve any issues related to delays damages or documentation discrepancies.
- Communicate shipment updates regularly to internal and external stakeholders as required.
- Analyze transportation costs and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborate with multiple internal teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records and reports for audits performance analysis and continuous improvement efforts.
- Utilize logistics software and ERP systems to manage and track shipments.
Required Skills:
- Bachelors degree or minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics coordination or supply chain.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of an ERP system and logistics software.
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations incoterms and customs documentation.
- Exceptional attention to detail required.
- Strong problem solving and analysis skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
