Work Hours: Seasonal approximately 36 hours three 10 hour shifts and one 6 hour shifts.
Location: Central Burnaby yard base
Wages: $22.00 per hour
Our Hop-On Hop-Off Controller oversees and dispatches the daily operation of our scheduled Hop-On Hop-Off tour routes. You will monitor on-road activity seat capacity detours city road closures and the timetable to ensure buses reach each stop on time. Youll direct drivers respond to issues in real time and coordinate with operations mechanics reservations and sales to keep service running smoothly. This role requires strong leadership a guest-focused approach adaptability and confident problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
YOUR WORK WILL INCLUDE
- Planning coordinating and executing the daily operations of Hop-On Hop-Off Sightseeing tours
- Preparing and supporting drivers for daily tour routes timetables and technology equipment
- Ensuring safe cost-effective and on-time operating performance
- Proactively monitoring and communicating tour changes traffic delays city events and road closures to Drivers and to ensure the guest experience is well managed
- Organizing and maintaining daily bus utilization assigned drivers and passenger counts
- Mitigating operational issues with a guest focus
- Communicating clearly and effectively over radios phone text and chats
- Professionally communicating with drivers guest service team sales team mechanics and managers as appropriate
- Completing daily operation reports of activities and issues
- Supporting drivers to ensure policies and procedures are followed

- You can reliably get to the office on time having a vehicle is ideal
