About the role
We are seeking a professional empathetic and motivated Family Law Solicitor to join our leading Family Law team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to further develop their family law practice within a supportive wellresourced environment. You will work on a diverse range of family law matters with access to mentoring collaboration and meaningful client work.
Key responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Interviewing clients and taking instructions with professionalism and empathy
- Managing the daytoday conduct of family law files
- Drafting correspondence court documents agreements and affidavits
- Providing advice to clients
- Liaising professionally with clients barristers mediators and other stakeholders
- Assisting with court appearances mediations and negotiations (commensurate with experience)
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve positive outcomes for clients
About you
You are a clientfocused solicitor with a genuine interest in family law and the desire to support clients through complex and often sensitive matters.
To be considered for this role you will ideally have:
- Have a minimum of two years postadmission experience practising in family law
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients
- Work well independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Be committed to ongoing professional development
- Be motivated to achieve highquality outcomes for clients
