Job Summary
The Preschool/Pre-Kindergarten Teacher is responsible for providing a warm nurturing environment in line with Spruces goals so that every child can thrive. The planning and implementation of a creative innovative stimulating curriculum is the primary responsibility of the Preschool/Pre-Kindergarten teaching team. The curriculum must present basic readiness skills through appealing and exciting developmentally-appropriate activities. The Preschool/Pre-Kindergarten Teacher is also responsible for daily verbal communication with Preschool/Pre-Kindergarten Teacher is part of a two-teacher collaborative team in a classroom with 12 children on a given day. The children in the classroom attend for 3 4 or 5 days a week and range in ages from 3 years 6 months to 4 years 6 months.
