You will respond to requests document observations and communicate clearly with students faculty staff and visitors while delivering customer service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students faculty staff and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings residence areas parking locations and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and public areas observe for policy violations or suspicious behavior and communicate findings to campus contacts and/or local responders as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner providing direction to occupants and supporting incident documentation requirements.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident reports use radios and/or other communication tools and coordinate with supervisors and site representatives to support security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
