Ophthalmology Veterinarian Specialty Hospital
A multi-specialty veterinary hospital is seeking an Ophthalmology Veterinarian to join its collaborative team of specialists and emergency clinicians. This role offers the opportunity to provide advanced ophthalmic care in a modern facility equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical technology.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat ocular diseases and vision-related conditions in animal patients
Perform ophthalmic examinations and specialized diagnostic procedures
Develop and manage treatment plans for ophthalmologic conditions
Perform ophthalmic surgeries and advanced eye procedures as needed
Collaborate with specialists and emergency veterinarians to provide comprehensive patient care
Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses treatment options and prognosis
Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university
Training or experience in veterinary ophthalmology
Strong diagnostic and surgical skills in ophthalmic medicine
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
