We are now seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team in Kilkenny and contribute to a show classified as 16. The start date for the role is March 16 2026 which will run until November 06 2026

This role is based in our studio in Kilkenny which is in the Republic of Irelandunfortunately no option to Freelance.
Due to the nature of the role we would not be in a position to obtain a work permit and therefore for this role we will only be able to consider applications from residents within the EU / EU passport holders only.
About the role
As a production manager you will be responsible for the management of all processes procedures outputs and deliverables throughout the production as well as ensuring that the departments outputs are aligned with the production schedule as well as the creative vision of the production

What youll be doing
- Working closely with the production coordinator(s) create detailed departmental schedules that are aligned with the master production schedule
- Manage the production schedule to ensure the production is delivered to our partners on time
- Oversee and be responsible for departmental schedules guiding and collaborating with the production coordinator(s)
- Supervise and motivate the production team highlighting any concerns to the LP and HR as necessary
- Share relevant information from production meetings and other relevant sources with the assigned team
- Maintain clear and regular communication with line manager peers and direct reports
- Supervise technical and creative leads monitoring the production status and progress
- Anticipate and troubleshoot any scheduling or staffing issues
- Provide solutions and escalate relevant information in line with the reporting structure as dictated by circumstances
- Create & distribute weekly production reports to studio management and partners
- Supervise and delegate responsibilities to the assigned departments supervisors coordinators and assistants
- Set quotas for the different departments: Background Layout Animation etc
- Through the supervisors/leads manage artists quotas and deadlines
- Manage approvals and deliveries to clients and broadcasters
- Set up and manage the relevant production database tracking and make sure database standards are met by all crew
- Attend all relevant studio meetings
Requirements of the role
- 2 years of experience working as a Production Manager.
- Extreme attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication
- Ability to juggle tasks and operate in a constantly changing environment
- Trouble shoot and foresee issues in the production ahead of time
- Experience in Shotgrid/Flow Production tracking software
- English to a reasonably high standard
