Hours:30hours per weekMonday to Friday workingthroughout the year.

Salary:22557.60ACTUAL plus benefits and bonus

About the Role of a House Manager

We are seeking a customer centric House Manager to exemplify the high-quality customer standards that we are renowned House Managers key role is to enhance our Homeowners quality of life and enable them tomaintaintheir independence. Thisis a diverse role encompassinghigh level customer serviceandfront of houseandfacilitiesmanagement. The successful candidate willbe responsible formanaginga strong communitywith our homeowners throughevent coordination andregular meetings toreport company updates andaddress the priorities of our welcome applications from candidates who have experienceof working in front line services orcustomer service management roles.

Some of the House Managerduties within this role include:

  • WelcomingnewHomeownersand supporting them tosettle into theirapartments.

  • Providing a professional front of house service anddealingall visitors in a friendly manner.

  • Beingthe first point of contact forallourHomeownersandoffering themhelp support andadviceas necessary.

  • Working in collaboration withour partners and suppliersto ensure the smooth running of the estate

  • Beingthefaceof McCarthy Stone for the families and friends of our Homeowners.

  • Dealingwith Homeowners issues with sensitivity and understand the needforconfidentialityand respect their privacy.

  • Managing the development gardens and grounds - in an efficient and effective manner providing our Homeowners with asafe secure well maintainedand pleasant environment

  • Facilitating social interaction and helping Homeowners to enjoy retirement living to the full.

  • Ensuring that all Health and Safety requirements are adhered to.

The successful candidate will have the following key competencies:

  • Excellent communication skills with a real can do attitude.

  • Extensive experience in a professional customer service orientated position.

  • A professional approach with high quality standards.

  • Thrives in a busy a varied role where every day will be different.

  • Be resilient and can problem solve effectively.

  • An awareness of basic Health and Safety will be a distinct advantage.

  • A good levelof computer literacy including Microsoft Word and Outlook.

  • Previous/current work based first aid qualifications will be an advantagealthough successful candidates will receive all the necessary training on commencement of the role.
