All Saints CE Primary Schoolis welcoming and inclusive primary school in Newmarket; Suffolk is seeking to appoint an experienced and dedicated SENDCo to join our team from the summer term.
This is an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable and passionate professional to lead and further develop high-quality provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We are looking for a confident SENDCo with a strong understanding of current SEND legislation and practice.
Your responsibilities will include:
- lead and manage the strategic development of SEND provision across the school
- ensure compliance with the SEND Code of Practice (2015)
- work closely with the Senior Leadership Team class teachers support staff parents and external agencies
- oversee EHCP processes annual reviews and high-quality provision mapping
- support staff in delivering inclusive adaptive teaching
- monitor and evaluate the impact of SEND interventions.
You will:
- hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- have achieved or be working towards the National Award for SEN Coordination
- have substantial experience as a SENDCo ideally within Suffolk
- demonstrate strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and local authority processes
- be highly organised proactive and solution-focused
- be committed to inclusion and ensuring every child achieves their potential.
