Raw Material Planner - Budapest (Hungary) - Your future position

Overall Mission:

Ensure raw material and packaging material availability in the right quantity will monitor items in the SLOB category and reducing discard in every category. Maintain master data escalate if a change is risking RM availability or inventory target. Work together with the relevant GBS functions.

You will be based in Budapest and report to the Raw Material Planning Manager.

You will:

  • Check daily Material Request Plan (MRP) results on the raw material requirements
  • Make sure that all Raw Materials and Packaging materials are available in the right quantity quality
  • Release handle update and monitor Raw Material Purchase Requisitions based on the MRP
  • Monitor the Raw material Purchase orders / Stock Transfer Orders issued by GBS Buying and initiate modification if necessary
  • Monitor order confirmations with GBS
  • Control of delivery including reminder to GBS Operational buyers and Replenishment Planners
  • Manage urgent raw material requests by asking for express orders expedite deliveries initiating mode of transport and quantity changes
  • Follow the Quality Notifications with QC and GBS Buying handling the stock to avoid raw material shortages by urgent orders from vendors and affiliates
  • Communication to Production Planners regarding delays or quantity changes
  • Issue handle update and monitor Packaging Material Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders based on the MRP (incl. Price delivery time order confirmation and other issues)
  • Contribute to the maintenance of the site related packaging catalogue
  • Coordinate inventory levels and identify slow and non-movers
  • Monitor SLOB and work on the reduction of discards in all categories
  • Create and share the agreed SLOB reports with the relevant partners
  • Manage exceptions and coordinate necessary actions
  • Ensure steady information flow among other department interfaces (QM/QC ProductionWarehouse)
  • Work together with the relevant GBS departments and partners at the respective production site
  • Maintain Master Data of Raw Material
  • Participate in Raw Material related projects e.g. Product Transfers

You:

  • College / University Graduate
  • 1 year experience in planning and inventory management
  • SAP knowledge
  • Fluency in English German or Dutch are advantageous
