Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
Define and implement the manufacturing engineering strategy for screen printing
and coating operations.
Develop long-term technology roadmaps aligned with business growth
objectives.
Lead capital investment planning for new printing and coating lines.
2. Process Engineering & Optimization
Design validate and optimize screen printing and coating processes.
Improve process capability yield repeatability and throughput.
Establish robust SOPs control plans and validation protocols.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma
methodologies.
3. Technology & Equipment Management
Lead selection commissioning and qualification of screen printing equipment.
Oversee coating technologies including:
o Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD)
o Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD)
Ensure proper material selection adhesion control thickness uniformity and
surface finish standards.
Evaluate emerging technologies and automation solutions.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Production to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
Work closely with Maintenance for preventive and predictive maintenance
strategies.
Collaborate with Quality to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory
requirements.
Support R&D in new product introduction (NPI) and process scale-up.
5. Quality & Compliance
Ensure adherence to quality standards and environmental regulations.
Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for process deviations.
Establish statistical process control (SPC) systems for printing and coating
operations.
6. Team Leadership & Development
Build and lead a high-performing manufacturing engineering team.
Develop technical capability in printing and coating technologies.
Foster a culture of innovation accountability and operational excellence.
Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mechanical Printing Chemical or Coating
Engineering.
Additional certifications in Lean / Six Sigma preferred.
Experience
Minimum 15 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
Proven expertise in Screen Printing and/or advanced Coating processes.
Deep technical knowledge of:
o Screen printing equipment and process parameters
o Coating systems such as PVD and CVD
o Surface treatment technologies and associated materials
