Job Summary

Job Description:

Design build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Cloud Build Jenkins GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions for automated build test and deployment workflows
Provision manage and optimise GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Deployment Manager
Manage and operate Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) clusters - deployment scaling monitoring and troubleshooting of containerised workloads
Implement and maintain containerisation strategies using Docker and Kubernetes for microservices and application deployments
Monitor infrastructure applications and services using GCP Cloud Monitoring Cloud Logging and Cloud Trace - set up dashboards alerts and SLOs/SLIs
Ensure security and compliance of cloud infrastructure by implementing IAM policies VPC configurations firewall rules Secret Manager and security hardening practices
Collaborate with development teams to adopt GitOps practices and enforce branching strategies code review processes and release management standards
Manage GCP networking components - VPC subnets Cloud Load Balancing Cloud DNS Cloud Interconnect and VPN configurations
Drive cost optimisation initiatives by monitoring GCP resource usage rightsizing workloads and implementing budget alerts
Support disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning - design backup strategies failover mechanisms and runbooks
