Job Description
The Clinical Sample Analysis Specialist II performs and interprets complex and routine laboratory analyses ensures data integrity and supports clinical research programs while mentoring team members and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This position is based in our office in central Uppsala.
A Day in the Life:
Plan and perform NGS analyses according to established methods.
Take responsibility for the installation operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Create and maintain documentation related to analyses and quality work.
Contribute to the departments quality and improvement efforts through routines and system support.
Collaborate with the team and actively help foster a safe structured and supportive work environment.
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification.
2 years of relevant laboratory experience (or equivalent combination of education training and experience).
Key Skills
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational communication and time-management abilities.
Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced regulated environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.
Work Environment
Laboratory and/or clinical setting with standard PPE requirements.
Exposure to biological materials and laboratory equipment.
Occasional travel may be required.
