The Test Lead will be responsible for ensuring the quality of a modernized Case Management System. This involves validating Core functionality ensuring functional equivalency to a legacy Classic ASP/VBScript application and working closely with developers in a DevOps-driven environment.
The Test Lead will be responsible for ensuring the quality of a modernized Case Management System. This involves validating Core functionality ensuring functional equivalency to a legacy Classic ASP/VBScript application and working closely with developers in a DevOps-driven environment.
Location:Toronto Ontario Canada
Responsibilities:
- Develop test plans test cases and test scripts Core application components.
- Validate migrated features against behavior observed in the existing Classic ASP/VBScript application.
- Analyze legacy screens workflows and code logic to determine expected outcomes.
- Execute functional regression integration and UAT testing.
- Document defects clearly and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Support DevOps-driven testing and release cycles.
- Provide weekly reporting on status progress and key issues/concerns.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- 5 years of experience in software QA/testing.
- Strong experience testing web applications ( Core).
- Ability to interpret and understand Classic ASP/VBScript logic to determine expected system behavior.
- Experience testing undocumented or partially documented legacy systems.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g. Azure DevOps JIRA HP ALM).
- Understanding of front-end technologies.
- Experience working with DevOps pipelines and CI/CD workflows.
- Excellent analytical communication and documentation skills.
- Expertise in writing and executing test cases scenarios and scripts for web applications covering functional regression integration and UAT testing.
