Job Summary
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Data & AI Services Consultant to support a strategic initiative focused on building a federated data ecosystem across government organizations.
In this role you will help design and deliver enterprise data and artificial intelligence services that enable advanced analytics data exchange machine learning and AI-driven innovation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to drive data platform strategy service design and enterprise data governance helping unlock the value of data to improve public services.
The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in data strategy AI/analytics integration service design stakeholder engagement and enterprise architecture.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of enterprise data and AI services including data platforms advanced analytics AI/ML and generative AI solutions.

Develop strategic roadmaps frameworks and service models to support enterprise data and AI initiatives.

Provide subject matter expertise and advisory support to leadership on data strategy governance and platform architecture.

Collaborate with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align enterprise data initiatives with business objectives.

Guide product and platform teams through the full service lifecycle from discovery and design to implementation and continuous improvement.

Support business analysis solution design and the development of metrics and KPIs to measure service performance and outcomes.

Contribute to strategic planning change management and process improvement initiatives that enhance data-driven service delivery.
Required Qualifications
Education
Candidates must meet one of the following:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering MIS or related field with 6 years of progressive experience OR

Diploma in a related field with 8 years of experience OR
-
Certificate in a related field with 9 years of experience OR
-
10 years of directly relevant experience
Professional Experience
-
5 years integrating AI machine learning and advanced analytics into enterprise or government data platforms
-
7 years designing and delivering IMT services and data platform architectures
-
5 years experience in enterprise data management and governance frameworks
-
5 years in strategic planning business analysis and solution planning
-
3 years managing complex IMT projects and change management initiatives
-
3 years facilitating discussions with executive stakeholders and cross-organizational teams
Preferred Experience
-
Experience implementing DevSecOps practices for data and AI platforms
-
Strong knowledge of cloud data ecosystems (storage compute analytics and orchestration services)

Experience with generative AI and agent-based AI solutions

Familiarity with public sector data governance privacy and compliance frameworks
-
Ability to create visual artifacts such as architecture diagrams service blueprints roadmaps and strategic plans
