Mō tēnei tūranga mahi About the role
Were looking for a senior finance professional to take full responsibility for the finance function across our multi-entity commercial group.
This is a senior finance leadership role responsible for end-to-end oversight of the Groups finance function. You will oversee financial management and reporting across multiple entities support consolidated Board reporting lead budgeting cashflow forecasting and liquidity and ensure compliance with accounting tax and legislative requirements. You will work closely with the CE COO and Board providing clear practical financial advice to support decision-making and capital planning.
Over time you will strengthen systems improve processes and build finance capability that can support the Groups continued growth. As the function develops the role will shift toward a strong focus on performance reporting capital oversight and strategic contribution.
You will bring 5-7 years experience in financial management accounting and tax ideally within a multi-entity environment. You are confident engaging with Boards and external advisors commercially sound and comfortable operating at both operational and strategic or CPA qualification is preferred.
Experience working within kaupapa Māori organisations post-settlement governance structures or Māori economic development is highly desirable.
This is a full-time role based in Te Wairoa offering flexibility and a competitive total remuneration package including vehicle and fuel card.
