The Role:

To provide excellent service to guests in a timely manner and to assure quality guest service and a favorable gaming experience.

Responsibilities:

Maintain a pleasant friendly and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal guests at all times.
Prepare drinks correctly and promptly for guests at bar and for Beverage and/or Food Servers.
Sell cigarettes and amenities to guests accurately ringing orders taking payments and making change as necessary.
Understand and adhere to established cash handling procedures and policies.
Assist with cleaning the bar area and with inventory.
Appropriately use all bar equipment and cash handling systems.
Have knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
Appropriately take food orders and serve food to guests.
Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.
Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
Ensure the safety and security of team members and guests.
Comply with all policies and procedures established by Ballys Kansas City Casino and departmental management.
Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of management.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
One year experience in bartending or as a bar back is required.
