This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in industrial facilities management safety program development and quality assurance leadership. This position requires an active Secret clearance and offers the opportunity to lead quality and safety initiatives supporting essential government Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:The Quality & Safety Manager will establish maintain and oversee integrated quality control and safety programs for large-scale facility operations and maintenance activities. This role requires a strategic leader who can develop comprehensive quality and safety methodologies while ensuring compliance with OSHA government standards and industry best practices. Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Develop and implement comprehensive method statements detailing the setup operation and management of integrated QC/QA and Safety programsOversee all quality control quality assurance and safety activities for operations and maintenance programs in large complex facilitiesLead the implementation and maintenance of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs with integrated safety protocolsDirect and coordinate non-destructive testing (NDT) methods and procedures across facility systemsDevelop implement and maintain comprehensive safety programs including job hazard analysis safety training and incident investigationEstablish quality and safety metrics inspection protocols and compliance documentation standardsConduct systematic audits and inspections of building systems including HVAC electrical plumbing fire protection and building automation systemsLead safety meetings toolbox talks and training sessions for all personnelInvestigate accidents near-misses and safety incidents; develop and implement corrective action plansEnsure compliance with OSHA regulations federal safety requirements and contract-specific safety standardsReview and approve work procedures inspection plans safety plans and quality control documentationInterface with government clients contractors and technical staff to ensure quality and safety standards are metIdentify quality and safety deficiencies and implement comprehensive corrective and preventive action plansTrain and mentor QC/QA and safety staff on procedures standards and best practicesPrepare detailed quality and safety reports trend analysis and performance metrics for leadership and client reviewManage safety equipment inventory and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Coordinate with emergency response teams and conduct emergency preparedness drillsMaintain current knowledge of industry standards building systems quality assurance and safety methodologiesEnsure all work complies with applicable codes standards regulations and contract requirementsEducation and Experience:Required:Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety and Health Environmental Health and Safety Facilities Management Engineering Construction Management or related discipline from an accredited college or universityMinimum of ten (10) years of experience in major industrial complexes or construction projects working in QC/QA and/or safety rolesMinimum of five (5) years of experience working as a Quality Control/Quality Assurance Inspector Safety Manager or similar leadership roleRequired Skills and Competencies:Strong working knowledge of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) operations for large-scale facilities and buildingsComprehensive understanding of building systems including HVAC electrical mechanical plumbing fire protection and building automation systemsDemonstrated experience working in Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) programsExtensive knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) methods and their applicationsProven ability to establish and manage integrated QC/QA and safety programsIn-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations safety standards and compliance requirementsStrong leadership and team management capabilities with ability to influence safety cultureExcellent written and oral communication skills with ability to interface effectively with government clients and technical teamsProficiency in developing method statements quality plans safety plans and inspection proceduresKnowledge of industry standards codes and regulations governing facility operations and workplace safetyStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to conduct root cause analysisExperience conducting accident investigations and implementing preventive measuresAbility to read and interpret technical drawings specifications safety data sheets and contract documentsProficient in quality and safety management software and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detailAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPhysical ability to conduct site inspections and safety walkthroughs in various environmental conditionsDesired Skills and Competencies:Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP)Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or Certified Quality Manager (CQM)OSHA 30-Hour Construction or General Industry certificationCertification in non-destructive testing (NDT Level II or III)Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certificationExperience supporting Department of Defense or federal government facilitiesKnowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standardsSix Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certificationProject Management Professional (PMP) certificationExperience with ASHRAE standards and guidelinesFirst Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certificationEnvironmental Health and Safety (EHS) management experienceExperience with behavior-based safety programsKnowledge of DOD safety requirements and hazardous materials managementClearance Requirement:Secret clearance Our Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
