A private equity-backed service company operating in the Chicago market is seeking a General Manager to lead its next phase of growth. The business is transitioning from a founder-led paper-based operation to a modern scalable platform with upgraded operational and financial systems.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
The General Manager will lead the Chicago operation with full P&L responsibility implementing processes and KPIs improving operations and managing a team of technicians and office staff while driving growth across the market.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong operational leadership with a process and KPI-driven mindset
- Experience managing service-based or dispatched technician teams
- Ability to lead teams through organizational change and growth
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities
Experience Level:
- Experience leading branch operations or field-service businesses
- Background in route-based or dispatched service models
- Experience managing technician or trades-based teams
Compensation:
Base Salary: $150K
Bonus: 20% performance bonus tied to revenue and EBITDA targets
