CLIENT is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist with strong experience operating manual lathes and mills. This position requires precision machining of large components while holding tight tolerances. Responsibilities
- Operate manual lathes and milling machines
- Machine large parts to close tolerances
- Hold total indicated runout (TIR) and straighten shafts to within 0.001 TIR
- Read and interpret blueprints including GD&T
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards
- Prioritize multiple jobs effectively in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Strong manual machining experience (lathe & mill mastery required)
- Ability to hold tight tolerances (0.001 TIR)
- Blueprint and GD&T proficiency
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Team-oriented mindset with a constructive attitude
