Job Summary:
The Multi-Disciplined Technician I is vital to maintaining sterile processing and reagent preparation for production in a fast-paced onsite laboratory setting. This role requires hands-on work with lab equipment strict adherence to safety and quality protocols and flexibility to support multiple teams. Candidates will be cross-trained gaining exposure to various lab functions and will play a key part in ensuring uninterrupted production operations. The position is a one-year contract with potential for extension offering stable hours and the opportunity to expand technical skills in a life sciences environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial washers dryers autoclaves and dehydrogenation ovens
- Prepare wash and sterilize vials for production use
- Maintain inventory of labware and glass vials for production needs
- Support the Reagents team with simple vialing and labeling processes as needed
- Follow all safety and quality protocols consistently
- Prepare standard cleaning product mixtures
- Work in clean rooms general labs and cold rooms (2 C to -20 C) with required PPE
- Frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks
