Role Overview

We are seeking a Security Engineer to support FIPS-related enhancements within a distributed software platform. This role focuses on secure application design cryptographic implementation and secure network communication within a .NET environment. The ideal candidate has strong C# expertise and experience working in compliance-driven settings.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement FIPS-compliant cryptographic functionality
Develop secure services and components using C#
Enhance secure network communication mechanisms
Ensure cryptographic implementations align with industry standards
Contribute to secure design patterns and coding best practices
Support development in compliance-focused environments

Required Qualifications

7 years of experience development
Strong hands-on expertise in C#
Experience implementing cryptography in application environments
Solid understanding of secure networking concepts and protocols
Strong knowledge of secure coding best practices

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with F# (or willingness to learn)
Experience in FIPS 140-2 / 140-3 environments
Background in secure distributed systems
