Description
Responsible for overall supervision and operations of warehouses to support Carlsbad NM mining operations by directing receiving warehousing and distribution of parts and materials.
Essential Functions
- Coaches counsels disciplines and monitors actions & performance of warehouse personnel.
- Maintains warehousing operations by initiating coordinating and enforcing operational programs policies and procedures.
- Implements and reviews key performance metrics for warehousing operations.
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Ensures inventory accuracy by conducting scheduled inventory cycle counts and wall to wall physical counts.
- Monitors administrates and conducts safety training of warehouse employees.
- Participates in achieving company financial goals by preparing an annual budget scheduling expenditures analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
- Investigates and reports on all safety and environmental incidents that occur.
- Designs warehousing reports.
- Troubleshoots remedies issues arising within or from warehouses.
- Assists in warehouses day to day operations as needed.
- Determines if work areas are safe.
- Observes and enforces all safety and company rules.

Seven years warehouse and supply chain experience
Equipment Used:
Computer telephone fax machine copier calculator fork lift hand tools pick-up truck mine vehicles. Proper PPE to be worn in designated areas.
Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent

Schedule and Environment:
9/80 schedule Monday Thursday 9-hour workdays Fridays worked 8-hour workday with every other Friday off. As part of a 24/7 maintenance support team employees will be on a rotating on-call schedule. Schedule subject to change.
- Outdoors in a non-temperature controlled environment and subject to weather conditions
- Exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels
Employees are required to wear safety attire and personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Physical Requirements:
- Standing walking sitting talking or hearing making visual inspections making precise hand and finger movements twisting stooping crouching kneeling reaching or grasping
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and push and/or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to climb stairs and/or ladders work at heights perceive color differences
- Will be required to wear personal protective equipment as needed and engage in strenuous physical activity
A pre-placement physical and hair follicle drug test will be required for anyone selected for this opportunity. Placement into the position will not be made until the results are received and cleared by Intrepid.
