NurseAmerica Healthcare is seeking an experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse for a high-paying travel assignment in Utica New York. This is an excellent opportunity for NICU RNs with strong Level II/III experience who want competitive pay and a supportive clinical environment.

Compensation & Schedule

Weekly Pay: $2800 $3100/week
- Estimated $1246 stipend (tax-free)
- Estimated $1554 $1854 W2
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Assignment Length: 8 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift Options:
- 12-Hour Nights
- 12-Hour Days
Overtime:
- Daily OT after 24 hours
- Weekly OT after 48 hours

Unit Details

NICU beds: 8 13 (private rooms overflow bay)
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1 to 1:3
Charting system: Epic
Floating: Mother/Baby Pediatrics or adult units (helping hands if outside scope)

Requirements

Active RN license (NY or compact eligible)
3 years NICU experience required
Level II or Level III NICU experience strongly preferred
BLS and NRP required at submission
PALS and STABLE required prior to start
- (Candidates may apply if willing to obtain before start)
Epic experience required

Travel Notes

75-mile radius rule applies
Local candidates accepted (local rate applies if within 75 miles)
No on-call required
