Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) Clinic/Ambulatory provides nursing care in a pediatric ambulatory clinic setting. The RN supports physicians and healthcare teams by performing clinical assessments assisting with procedures administering treatments and ensuring high-quality patient care for pediatric patients in an outpatient environment.

Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in an ambulatory clinic setting.
Perform patient assessments monitor vital signs and document patient information accurately in medical records.
Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy procedures as required.
Assist physicians and clinical staff with examinations treatments and procedures.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans medications and follow-up care.
Maintain infection control standards and ensure compliance with clinical protocols and policies.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements
Two (2) years of Med/Surg or clinic nursing experience required.
Pediatric ambulatory experience required.
Proficiency in IV insertion and phlebotomy.
Position is for a pediatric ambulatory clinic currently recruiting to fill the vacancy.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.

Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA).
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association (AHA) (required for Queens only).

License
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License New York State.
Primary Source Verification of License and Registration from the New York State Department of Education (NYSED).
