Job Summary

The State College Area School District is currently accepting applications for an anticipated full-time contract for a Health and Physical Education Teacher in our Elementary Schools.

The ability to establish relationships with students and collaborate with colleagues is critical to success in this position. The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to diversity and recognize that equity and inclusivity are foundational to ensuring every student has opportunities to grow thrive and fulfill their potential through caring responsive education.

The District seeks dynamic energetic health and physical educators who are student-focused and have knowledge of both theory and practice specific to health and physical education learners. Organizational collaborative and independent work skills are critical to success in this position. The District is searching for candidates who demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and development possess relevant professional experience and also exhibit strong communication skills adaptability to different school cultures and a commitment to collaborative teamwork.
