Pay Rate: $46.50 $50.00 per hour

Position Overview

Cottage Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Med/Surg unit. The RN will provide direct patient care for adult patients with a variety of acute medical conditions while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med/Surg patients
Monitor patient conditions and document changes accurately
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Perform patient assessments and develop care plans
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate care
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate patient documentation in the electronic medical record
Ensure adherence to hospital safety infection control and quality standards

Unit Overview

The Med/Surg unit at Cottage Hospital cares for patients with a wide range of medical conditions requiring acute inpatient care. Nurses work collaboratively with the ICU team and other specialists to provide safe and effective treatment.

Minimum Requirements

Active RN license (State of NH or compact state)
BLS certification (AHA required)
Previous Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
Strong patient care and clinical assessment skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment

Work Schedule

Shift: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
Meal Break: 30 minutes
