Job Title: Business Analyst Informatica (MDM)
Location: Minneapolis MN (Onsite 4 5 days per week)
Employment Type: 6 12 Month Contract-to-Hire

Position Overview

We are partnering with our client to hire a Business Analyst who will support a data-focused product and delivery team. This team is responsible for Informatica client data reference data and broader Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives within the banking domain.

The Business Analyst will strengthen requirements gathering improve documentation quality enhance user story development and ensure alignment between developers and data subject matter experts (SMEs). This role is also essential for maintaining progress on Informatica initiatives while supporting SaaS migration efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with product and delivery leads to translate business requirements into detailed user stories and clear acceptance criteria
Develop UAT (User Acceptance Testing) plans and test scenarios; support test execution and defect resolution
Work closely with developers to clarify requirements and refine backlog items
Perform business and data analysis related to client data reference data and MDM initiatives
Write SQL scripts for post-implementation validation and data analysis
Maintain comprehensive and high-quality project documentation
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and offshore teams
Support planning prioritization and stakeholder communication
Assist with SaaS migration activities
Contribute to building a scalable data environment aligned with evolving AI-driven priorities

Required Qualifications

Strong experience writing user stories and managing backlog refinement
Ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements
Experience developing UAT test plans and test cases
Solid understanding of Informatica Customer MDM and financial data environments
Proficiency in SQL for testing and data validation
Excellent documentation skills
Strong communication time management and professional skills
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with distributed teams
