As an Account Executive you will be at the forefront of our business development efforts responsible for acquiring new clients and expanding relationships with existing ones. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking sales acumen and a deep understanding of IT solutions. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue strategic growth identifying opportunities for business expansion and ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the client base and achieve sales targets.
- Build a robust sales pipeline through prospecting lead generation and networking.
Acquisition:
- Engage with potential clients to understand their IT needs and challenges.
- Present and demonstrate IT solutions and services to prospective clients.
- Lead the sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure.
Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients to understand their evolving IT requirements.
- Collaborate with clients to develop tailored solutions which address their business goals.
- Work closely with Account Manager and Solutions Engineer to ensure clients needs are met.
- Ensure client satisfaction and act as a trusted advisor for IT-related matters.
- Advocate for clients internally ensuring their needs and expectations are understood and met.
Strategy and Forecasting:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and potential risks.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the management team.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal technical teams project managers and support staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Collaborate with marketing and Client Experience teams to develop compelling collateral and participate in promotional activities.
- Coordinate with Account Managers Solutions Engineers and Project teams to transition clients smoothly post-sale.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Sales Marketing or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in IT sales or business development.
- In-depth knowledge of IT solutions services and industry trends.
- Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and expectations.
