Job Summary

Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Unit admits patients from CICU MSICU acute care floors and ED; Post-op CABG thoracic surgeries vascular surgeries; Resp. failure with multiple treatment modalities except invasive mechanical ventilation; Cardiac arrhythmias; DKA; GI bleed; Trauma; CVA; Seizures; CIWA; Metabolic disorders; Renal failure; GI disorders; CVA; Hypertensive emergency; Sepsis; Neuro disorders Ratio / Census: 1:3-4; 32 Bed unit with average daily census of 21 Unit Systems: Epic Pyxis SBAR AirVo BiPap CPAP Scrub Color: Navy Blue RTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere Floating: Yes within facility/scope of practice as needed Call Requirements: None Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
