Job Summary
Job Summary (Lead Data Scientist):
- Lead data science initiatives across multiple projects including large corporate programs research/discovery efforts vendor collaborations and academic partnerships.
- Collaborate with various business units (e.g. Claims Product Risk Management Contact Centers) to identify and address business problems using advanced data science and AI solutions.
- Define scope coordinate tasks and oversee work of data scientists; ensure alignment with engineering design and product teams to deliver impactful solutions.
- Drive innovation by researching evaluating and applying emerging AI technologies with a strong focus on Generative AI prompt engineering and Agentic AI frameworks.
- Integrate and mature AI infrastructure using tools such as LangFuse and LiteLLM and blend third-party solutions with in-house capabilities.
- Contribute to the broader data science community through academic partnerships publishing papers and presenting at conferences and talks.
- Maintain awareness of current market trends and industry advancements to ensure solutions are innovative and relevant.
- Serve as a subject matter expert sharing knowledge of emerging AI technologies and open-source tools with the team and stakeholders.
