Job Summary
Job Summary (Principal Oracle PL/SQL Developer):
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle PL/SQL developer handling large sensitive data sets
- Expertise in RDBMS: SQL querying stored procedures triggers functions views user and object privileges
- Strong skills in data analysis problem-solving and system design
- Proficient in performance tuning for stored procedures and queries
- Experience with ETL processes for high-volume data loading (e.g. SQL Loader)
- Familiar with Linux environments and basic Unix commands
- Experience working within Agile development teams
- Capable of database modeling
- Knowledge of Core Java Python and scheduling tools (e.g. Control-M) preferred
- AWS Cloud experience is a plus
- Strong background in financial industry preferably Capital Markets/Securities Finance
- Minimum 5 years of financial industry experience is a plus
- Ability to understand financial industry glossaries and terminology
- Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Motivated adaptable and able to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and business audiences
- Quick learner with a positive attitude and ability to work across diverse teams
