Job Summary: Administrative Operations Assistant
Position Overview:
- Provide administrative and operational support for the Business & Financial Services Division General Services Unit.
- 100% onsite temporary position at 1110 W Washington St Phoenix AZ.
- Standard work hours: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (No State Holidays).
Key Responsibilities:
- Front desk and reception duties: greet visitors answer phones enforce security manage deliveries.
- Administrative support: calendar management appointment scheduling document preparation project assistance.
- General services functions: mailroom operations vehicle reservations shipping/receiving facilities requests.
- Assist with state processes and participate in special/cross-functional projects.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
- Knowledge of administrative procedures facilities/fleet support and government financial processes (preferred).
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; strong communication record-keeping and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team multitask lift/move items and drive as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in administrative facilities or financial support roles.
- High computer proficiency dependable strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Postgraduate degree and experience with cloud-based tools preferred.
Work Conditions:
- Physically active: lifting/moving equipment working in varied indoor/outdoor environments occasional driving.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree (Masters preferred).
- Valid drivers license.
- Ability to pass a 7-year background check.
