The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant Professor Associate Professor or Professor level in the Section of Neuropathology in the Division of Anatomic Pathology. The section is responsible for the performance of neuropathology laboratory services at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital the schools 650-bed tertiary care core teaching hospital in New Brunswick NJ. The successful candidate will be a member of the Neuropathology team consulting with clinical staff and will be an active participant in the Departments educational programs including teaching medical students and residents and will be expected to engage in productive research addition participation on the autopsy service will be required. Subspecialty expertise in an area of surgical pathology such as head and neck pathology bone and soft tissue pathology breast pathology thoracic pathology pediatric pathology genitourinary pathology etc. as well as willingness to sign out general surgical pathology cases is desirable but not required.
