Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate hands-on patient care in a healthcare facility in Albuquerque New Mexico. The CNA works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to assist patients with daily living activities monitor patient conditions and support the overall delivery of quality care.
Key Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing dressing grooming and toileting

Help patients with mobility transfers and ambulation using proper safety techniques
-
Measure and record vital signs such as temperature pulse and blood pressure
-
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
-
Assist with feeding and hydration when required
-
Maintain patient hygiene and ensure a clean safe environment

Document patient care activities accurately in the facilitys electronic medical record system
-
Support nursing staff with patient care tasks and unit operations
-
Follow infection control policies and patient safety protocols
Minimum Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of New Mexico

Listed in good standing on the New Mexico Nurse Aide Registry
-
Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred or as required by facility)

Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
Preferred Qualifications
-
Previous experience in long-term care rehabilitation hospital or skilled nursing facility settings
-
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR/EMR) systems
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
