We are seeking an ASIC IP Verification Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This role will involve maintaining and optimizing automation frameworks for ASIC design verification managing large-scale compute/storage environments and modernizing CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have experience in EDA tools infrastructure automation version control systems and high-performance computing environments along with a passion for semiconductor verification infrastructure and scalable engineering solutions.

Location: Austin TX (On-site) Must support US/Canada time zones and collaborate with global teams

Duration: 12 Months (04/06/2026 04/05/2027)

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled ASIC IP Verification Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and enhance automation frameworks that power ASIC design verification workflows. The ASIC IP Verification Infrastructure Engineer will work autonomously under the guidance of a Technical Lead to streamline build flows manage high-volume compute and storage systems and support CI/CD modernization efforts. The ASIC IP Verification Infrastructure Engineer will play a critical role in enabling seamless collaboration between US/Canada verification teams and global infrastructure teams. This ASIC IP Verification Infrastructure Engineer role requires deep expertise in EDA tools scripting repository management and regression automation. The ASIC IP Verification Infrastructure Engineer will also contribute to infrastructure scalability workflow optimization and next-generation AI-assisted development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain automated ASIC verification build flows using GNU Make or similar tools
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or GitLab CI) for regression linting and simulation workflows
Manage and optimize version control systems (Git and Perforce) including branching strategies and repository structures
Support EDA simulation and debugging tools such as Synopsys VCS and Verdi
Administer compute job schedulers (LSF Slurm) and optimize high-performance storage environments
Develop automation scripts using Python Perl and Shell (Bash/TCSH)
Monitor regression health metrics and verification KPIs using tools like JIRA Confluence and PowerBI
Collaborate across time zones to ensure infrastructure stability and continuous improvement
Support AI-assisted development and automation modernization initiatives

Required Skills & Experience:

8 12 years of experience in ASIC verification infrastructure or hardware automation environments
5 years of experience with version control systems (Git Perforce) and repository management
5 years of experience with EDA tools such as Synopsys VCS and Verdi
5 years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or GitLab CI)
Strong expertise in scripting languages: Python Perl Shell (Bash/TCSH)
Experience managing compute schedulers (LSF Slurm) and high-performance storage systems
Experience developing hardware build automation frameworks using GNU Make or similar tools
Strong understanding of ASIC EDA workflows and debug processes
Ability to work autonomously and manage tasks independently

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:

Web development experience (HTML dashboard tools)
Experience with AI coding agents or productivity tools
Exposure to AI/ML-based log analysis or regression prediction
Ruby scripting experience
Basic SQL knowledge for regression data analysis
