Role: House Recruiter
Location: Bay Area CA / Seattle WA
Duration: 3-6 months
Role Purpose
The Research Recruiter is responsible for identifying screening and onboarding qualified households for in-home research studies. This role requires strong research-based recruiting skills attention to environmental and eligibility criteria and the ability to deliver reliable participants who meet specific study conditions.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted research-based recruitment using multiple sourcing channels to identify eligible households that meet study environment and participation criteria.
- Perform detailed screening to validate household eligibility availability and compliance with study requirements prior to scheduling.
- Manage end-to-end participant onboarding including outreach eligibility confirmation consent readiness and session coordination.
- Maintain backup and standby participant pools to mitigate dropouts reschedules or late-stage disqualifications.
- Coordinate scheduling across locations while accounting for environmental availability and study-specific constraints.
- Communicate clearly with participants to set expectations and reduce no-shows or early attrition.
- Maintain accurate recruitment trackers screening notes and eligibility documentation.
Mandatory Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
- Proven experience in research-based or field-study recruitment (not generic staffing or call-center recruiting).
- Demonstrated ability to source participants based on environmental household or situational criteria.
- Strong screening and qualification skills with close attention to detail.
- Experience managing high-touch participant communication and scheduling.
- Ability to work independently and proactively address recruitment risks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience recruiting for in-home studies UX research or observational research.
- Familiarity with managing eligibility constraints related to living environments behavior or household conditions.
- Experience recruiting across multiple cities or regions simultaneously.
