Job Summary

Role: House Recruiter

Location: Bay Area CA / Seattle WA

Duration: 3-6 months

Role Purpose

The Research Recruiter is responsible for identifying screening and onboarding qualified households for in-home research studies. This role requires strong research-based recruiting skills attention to environmental and eligibility criteria and the ability to deliver reliable participants who meet specific study conditions.

Core Responsibilities

Conduct targeted research-based recruitment using multiple sourcing channels to identify eligible households that meet study environment and participation criteria.
Perform detailed screening to validate household eligibility availability and compliance with study requirements prior to scheduling.
Manage end-to-end participant onboarding including outreach eligibility confirmation consent readiness and session coordination.
Maintain backup and standby participant pools to mitigate dropouts reschedules or late-stage disqualifications.
Coordinate scheduling across locations while accounting for environmental availability and study-specific constraints.
Communicate clearly with participants to set expectations and reduce no-shows or early attrition.
Maintain accurate recruitment trackers screening notes and eligibility documentation.

Mandatory Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

Proven experience in research-based or field-study recruitment (not generic staffing or call-center recruiting).
Demonstrated ability to source participants based on environmental household or situational criteria.
Strong screening and qualification skills with close attention to detail.
Experience managing high-touch participant communication and scheduling.
Ability to work independently and proactively address recruitment risks.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience recruiting for in-home studies UX research or observational research.
Familiarity with managing eligibility constraints related to living environments behavior or household conditions.
Experience recruiting across multiple cities or regions simultaneously.
