The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and supporting enterprise-grade financial technology solutions that integrate with portfolio management accounting and trading systems used by investment management firms.
Key Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain scalable applications and integrations using Java or Python to support portfolio accounting trade processing and reporting workflows within S&P Global Wall Street Office.
Develop custom interfaces automation scripts and API integrations between Wall Street Office and external systems such as trading platforms market data providers and enterprise data warehouses.
Build data ingestion and transformation pipelines to process financial transactions securities master data and portfolio performance data.
Implement and maintain batch processing jobs reconciliation processes and financial reporting modules supporting investment operations.
Collaborate with portfolio managers operations teams and technology stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Optimize application performance and ensure data integrity across portfolio accounting reconciliation and financial reporting processes.
Develop automated testing monitoring and deployment pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery of financial applications.
Troubleshoot production issues perform root cause analysis and implement fixes for trading settlement and accounting workflows.
Required Qualifications
5 10 years of software development experience using Java or Python.
Hands-on experience working with S&P Global Wall Street Office including data structures APIs and portfolio accounting workflows.
Strong knowledge of financial instruments portfolio accounting trade lifecycle and investment management operations.
Experience designing REST APIs batch processing systems and data integration pipelines.
Proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL Oracle or SQL Server.
Experience with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD pipelines.
