Expectations / Deliverables for the Role
Builds the SAP data foundation by defining how SAP systems store share and manage trusted enterprise data.
Produces reference data architectures by leveraging expert input from application analytics integration platform and security teams. These architectures form the basis for new solutions and enterprise data initiatives.
Enables analytics and AI use cases by ensuring data is consistent governed and discoverable.
Leverages SAP Business Data Cloud Datasphere MDG and related capabilities to unify data and eliminate duplicate data copies.
Defines and maintains common data model catalogs to create a shared understanding of core business data.
Evolves data governance ownership metadata and lineage standards across the enterprise.
Protects core transactional systems by preventing excessive replication and extraction loads.
Technical Proficiency
Strong knowledge of SAP master and transactional data domains.
Hands-on experience with SAP MDG Business Data Cloud BW Datasphere or similar platforms.
Expertise in data modeling metadata management data quality and data governance practices.
Understanding of data architectures that support analytics AI and regulatory requirements.
Experience integrating SAP data with non-SAP analytics and reporting platforms.
Soft Skills
Ability to align data and engineering teams around a shared data vision drive consensus on data standards and decisions
Strong facilitation skills to resolve data ownership and definition conflicts.
Clear communicator who can explain architecture choices trade-offs and cost

Location- Austin TX ( Day one Onsite)
Duration : FULLTIME
Expectations / Deliverables for the Role
Defines end-to-end application architecture for SAP solutions aligned with business strategy and enterprise standards.
Produces reference architectures by leveraging expert input from application platform integration data and security engineering teams. These reference architectures form the foundation for new SAP solutions and programs.
Drives Clean Core principles by clearly defining what belongs in SAP standard in-app extensibility and side-by-side extensions.
Reviews and approves designs to reduce customization technical debt and long-term maintenance risk.
Defines application-level standards for monitoring logging and observability to ensure reliable and supportable solutions.
Evaluates and influences total cost of application ownership including build run support and upgrade costs.
Technical Proficiency
Strong experience with SAP BTP SAP S/4HANA application and functional architecture across core business domains.
Deep understanding of SAP extensibility options and Clean Core aligned design patterns.
Familiarity with application monitoring observability and operational readiness in SAP landscapes.
Experience assessing custom code enhancements and workflows for simplification or retirement.
Ability to design applications with long-term maintainability performance and upgradeability in mind.

Connects the enterprise by defining reference integration patterns across SAP and non-SAP systems.
Produces reference integration architectures by leveraging expert input from application data platform and security engineering teams. These architectures form the foundation for new integrations and digital solutions.
Continuously evolves integration standards to support changing business models and application landscapes.
Leverages SAP BTP API Management and Integration Suite to modernize connectivity and enable event-driven architectures.
Champions reuse and simplification to reduce custom interfaces and eliminate technical debt.
Defines and evolves integration KPIs metrics and dashboards to improve reliability and operational visibility.
Guides teams in selecting the right integration approach (API event batch IDoc) for each use case.
Technical Proficiency
Strong experience with SAP Integration Suite API Management and event-based integration patterns.
Knowledge of hybrid integration landscapes spanning SAP and non-SAP systems.
Experience designing secure scalable and resilient integration architectures.
Understanding of monitoring error handling and operational support for integrations.

Involve in proactive monitoring and performance tuning of HANA Cloud and BTP applications using tools like SAP Cloud ALM SAP Focus run and SAP BTP Cockpit.
Administer and optimize HANA Cloud DB instances including upgrade backups recovery scaling and monitoring.
Have a complete understanding of the SAP HANA on-premise and cloud environment.
Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
